Sea to Summit Tek Towel
Review written by: Ray
There are two things that are greatly taken for granted when you book a hotel in the States. One is clean sheets, and the second is clean towels.
While sheets are usually given upon request at your budget backpacker’s accommodation in Asia, there is no guarantee that the guesthouse will have towels, clean or not. This is the reason for bringing a small ‘emergency’ towel.
Our choice was the the medium-sized Sea To Summit Tek Towel.
The Tek Towel is designed to dry you even if it is wet. All that is needed is a simple wring-out of the towel before use.
We have both been able to take showers and dry off completely with this small towel. It is great in “emergencies”, when you’d otherwise be drying off with toilet paper, and is nice to have on rafting or kayaking trips.
The small zippered packing pouch is also great for separate use as a packing cube. G uses hers to keep her three pairs of underwear together, quick to find and easily accessible.
